I am in outside sales in the medium truck ( semi-truck) industry. I need a mobile app that will allow we to enter the PSI, tread depth, vehicle specs, and other misc notes into a report. I would love to build this app for you, but it seems like this is exactly what you are looking for: http://www.revolutiontms.com/

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your honesty and helpfulness, it means a lot to me. I need to clarify my original post. there are currently two systems similar to what I want, but also very different. the first system, the one you posted requires first, a $3000 handheld and $1500 in software and Bluetooth tools. the second system is by Bridgestone, it also requires the same handheld and it requires you to first create the survey online, download it to the hand, held up load it to the online account, and then you can share it with your customer. I want a application that allows me to create and share surveys on the spot. I want simplicity, elegance, and usability. the other systems look and feel like they were created by the tire industry. as you can tell I'm sure, I am communicating via my iPhone this manner is very cumbersome. if you would like to send me a private message with your phone number I would be happy to call you or anyone for that matter Mbillings 3 months ago

Will you have fairly reliable internet access when in the field?

If so, the app could be developed as a web app instead of a native iOS or Android app (much like: http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/examples/kitchensink/) which would greatly reduce development costs, reduce update cycle length, and make the app cross platform.

Internet is a ht and miss in the field. It would be better to build an app. Is anyone interested in the project? Mbillings 3 months ago
